If you have
youth (ages 7-17) that will be traveling and would like to
receive a free event t-shirt and free food and drink (while
working) at concession stand, please let Dan Wood (dwood@thenccaa.org)
know so we can accommodate these young people. We would always
have them work their teams matches. It is difficult once we
assign local volunteers to matches to then add or insert these
youth. Coaches kids are allowedJ

Practice
Sessions
Ben Belleman
(937-681-0967), NCCAA Men’s Division I Men’s Soccer I Chair,
will assign/schedule all practice sessions which are only
available on Tuesday, December 1 from at 8:00, 9:05, 10:10,
11:15, 12:20 and 1:25. Each team will have one hour on-field
time with a 5-minute switch time built into schedule.
CSP Schedule
The event
Christian Service Project (CSP) is a hands-on opportunity for
NCCAA Division I Volleyball to assist Campus Crusade for Christ
in their Christmas Gift Distribution. All teams must be at
Campus Crusade for Christ headquarters located at 11205 Lake
Hart Drive, Orlando, FL 32832 (407-281-3400) by 3:00 PM on
Tuesday, December 1. Please plan to arrive on time out of
respect for the CCC staff and volunteers that are setting up
this event. Someone will meet each team vehicle at guard house
or gate and direct you to the proper building.
Once on site,
teams will be welcomed by CCC staff and then student-athletes
will begin sorting and packaging the gifts for the at risk
kids/families. Players will then pray over the gifts before
departing.
In preparation
for this effort, all NCCAA Division I Soccer teams are asked to
provide the following gift/toy items based upon each player’s
birth month. There are ample shopping places to pick up these
items for teams that fly in or drive a significant distance and
prefer not to have to carry items with them.
Toy

pairs or more) white socks (kids or medium adult in size)

Players born in

The success of
this effort truly depends upon each team member bringing their
assigned product(s) and then showing up to work on Christ’s
behalf. The folks at CCC are excited about this effort and were
truly concerned about how this year’s Toy Drive effort would go
due to poor economy and increased need throughout Kissimmee and
Orlando.
Coaches
Meetings (required)
The
Championship Coaches Meeting will be Tuesday, December 1 at
3:30-5:00 PM at Campus Crusade for Christ headquarters. Coaches
should plan to sit in on initial welcome and prayer time for the

student-athletes begin their CSP effort. We are very thankful
to CCC for providing the necessary meeting space at no cost to
the NCCAA.
