Lodging
All teams must house at the host property, Majestic Towers in Panama City, Florida. All team housing must be brooked through the NCCAA office and rooms prepaid before
October 14. The NCCAA will be setting up a Master Bill in an effort to save all teams the 12% state and local tax normally charged to each room. Teams from Florida should still book via the NCCAA office. Team reps should contact Dan Wood (
dwood@thenccaa.org or 864-250-1199) to secure your reservations as soon as qualified.
Rates are offered to any fans as long as they mention that they are with the
NCCAA 2016 Group or reference
Group #10PoWV. However, fans must book directly with the resort (800-874-8686) as they will not be part of the NCCAA Master Bill.
Parents/fans may begin booking their rooms on Wednesday, October 12.
Format
54-hole stroke play event with best 4 of 5 scores counted daily.
All Women's teams advance to the final round after 36-hole cut
Top ten finishers are designated as NCCAA All-Americans
Practice Round
The official practice rounds will be Sunday, October 23 with times beginning at 10:00AM and ending at 12:00PM with each five person team being assigned one time (times will be assigned by the NCCAA and released on October 12). Players may ride during the practice round. No extra players are allowed during the practice round, but coaches may play with their teams, if desired. The new format will utilize split tees in order to insure that all teams finish before darkness falls (estimated 6:00PM).
Additional practice rounds may be secured for the normal rate on Saturday for teams arriving early. Please contact the pro shop staff (850-234-3673) for available times and restrictions.
