The Ministry [Back to top]

Since 1968, the NCCAA has provided ministry and outreach to thousands of young men and women through intercollegiate athletic competition with a Christian perspective.  Athletics are used as a tool to impact and develop our young people into leaders of tomorrow.

As America's largest Christian intercollegiate athletic association, the NCCAA serves approximately 106 Christian colleges and universities, sponsoring 23 national championships.  It also sponsors mission endeavors throughout the world, sharing the witness of Jesus Christ through athletics.

Through its character program, Game Plan 4 LIFE (GP4L), the NCCAA provides a, Christ-centered method of training young adults to serve as Christ served.

The NCCAA Pro-Am provides a large portion of the annual financial budget for the NCCAA outreach.  These events have assisted over 6,250 student-athletes in their mission endeavors around the world.

The Purpose [Back to top]

The NCCAA Pro-Am is just plain AWESOME!  The people, the relationships, the fellowship, the outreach, the Lord's presence...and, of course, the awe-inspiring Hammock Beach Resort adn teh ocean Course...all combine to make memories and life-long friends that last forever.

For 44 years, the NCCAA has ministered to the student-athletes and coaches, as well as individuals across our nation and around the world, seeing thousands of lives changed for Christ.  This is the 25th anniversary celebration of this Pro-Am, which has earned over $900,000 net income for the NCCAA ministry throughout the history of this event. The funds raised at this Pro-Am will support the NCCAA in both general operations and in the support of student-athletes and coaches as they travel in sports ministry sharign the gospel through athletics.  Two member schools will split $5,000 in scholarships for the top two teams in the College Scholarship competition.

NCCAA Pro-Ams are known for their fellowship, spiritual renewal and, of course, great golf.  Come the first time for the golf, but the next time you'll come back for so much more!
