Colorado Christian University Captures Fourth Straight Men's Golf National Championship

Palm Coast, FL (10/25/17):  Colorado Christian University’s 9 shot lead after round 1 dwindled to just 4 strokes after round 2. The Cougars were up for the challenge, though, as they shot a 298 in round 3 to finish at 885 (288, 299, 298) and claim their fourth straight NCCAA Men’s Golf National Championship. Dallas Baptist University surged to second on the final day and finished 14 strokes behind the Cougars with a 899 (299, 299, 301). Taking third was Indiana Wesleyan University who shot a 906 (297, 294, 315).
 
Chase Carlson of Colorado Christian University took medalist honors as he shot a 213 (68, 72, 73). Indiana Wesleyan University’s Nick Schad finished 3 strokes behind Carlson with a 216 (69, 72, 75), while Joaquin Arguelles of Dallas Baptist University claimed third with a 219 (74, 71, 74). Mark Hull of Colorado Christian University was named NCCAA Men’s Golf Coach of the Year for the fourth straight year.
