Fields denoted as
follows:
8 is lighted field to
west
7 is lighted field in
center directly up from concessions/office area
6 is lighted field to
east
If we have inclimate
weather we can and have used the regulation field that runs parallel
with Boggy Creek Road to the east. We would obviously use it during
daylight hours.

Re: Season Information
I. Statistical Reporting:
Gabriel Wall is our NCCAA SID and you
should have received a contact from him regarding the reporting
process for this season. You are to send your report to Gabe each week
according to the schedule listed below.
Please report stats via e-mail to
stats@thenccaa.org and use the spreadsheet
template provided. If you have any questions/problems
regarding this you can contact Gabe at (574)
850-2350.or via the e-mail address given above.
Minimum Games/Minutes Played
Guidelines:
Players must meet the listed guidelines in
order to qualify for the weekly top ten lists of individual stats
categories.
Field Players Keepers

Report 7 8

Important Note:
Failure to submit more than two reports
will result in disqualification of the team from post-season play as
well as that team’s players not being eligible for post-season honors.
This means that a team that fails to report a third time will be
penalized as previously described. Let’s be diligent so that our
players can receive the recognition they deserve.
Statistical Report Deadlines:

Time)
Report 2 – September 15 (5:00pm Eastern

Instructions to get stats:
Log onto the NCCAA page at
http://www.thenccaa.org/ . The stats will be available by 12:00pm
(Eastern Time) the day after they are reported.
National Ratings:
A top 10 rating will begin the week of
September 8. The ratings will be determined by votes of the Region
Chairs.
Additional Score Reporting:
It is my hope that everyone will
participate in the college scoreboard program run by the NSCAA
(formerly run by collegesoccer.com). Log onto
http://www.nscaa.com/ and click on the college scoreboard choice.
You will be given a password to enable you or a staff member to put up
a schedule and report results after each game. This will be very
useful to all of our coaches as well as recognition of our programs
from the public, recruits and contacts. I also understand you are
required to report yellow and records on this site by the NAIA (for
NAIA members).
II. Procedures for Student-Athlete
of the Week:
The award will be given to one male and
one female athlete in both Divisions I and Division II, chosen from
the list of nominees submitted by all sanctioned sports each week. The
athlete should be nominated by their respective coach and should
exemplify the Christian ideals held by the NCCAA. Accomplishments
should be listed for the preceding week (Monday – Saturday).
Nominations should be faxed (864-250-1141) to Jerry Malone, Director
of Member Relations, by 5:00pm each Monday. The NCCAA Director of
Member Relations will review all nominations and select the
recipients. Each school is responsible for providing local media
information on the nomination form for the Director of Member of
Relations. All nominees for each week will be listed on the NCCAA
update. The NCCAA National Office will send a congratulatory letter
and two certificates, one for the student-athlete and one for his/her
respective institution.
III. Team Roster, Schedule and
Picture:
Please mail these items to me by
October 3. This is important for the completion of the National
Tournament Program on time.

IV. NCCAA All-America Selection
Process:
The NSCAA will again recognize our
All-America Team. Only players from teams that are coached by NSCAA
members will be eligible for NSCAA-NCCAA selection. Players selected
for All-America that are coached by non-NSCAA members will be dropped
from the NSCAA Team, recognized separately by the NCCAA and the slot
on the NSCAA Team will be filled by the next highest vote getter
accordingly. I firmly believe every college coach should be a
member of the NSCAA. A registration form can be found at
http://www.nscaa.com/members/join.html .
V. National Tournament Info:
The Northwest Region has been eliminated
from our qualification structure due to there only being one active
member in that region. That means there will be an at-large bid
available this year to the National Tournament. The deadline for
submission of the request for the at-large bid is November 10, 2008.
Dates:
December 1-6, 2008
Site:
Austin-Tindall Regional Park
Kissimmee, Florida.
VI. NEW - National
Player of the Year and The Kyle Rote Merit Award:
The NCCAA Kyle Rote, Jr. Award - Is given
to a exemplary student athlete with a stellar career at his school in
performance, academics and Christian character. We all should have
one. Please begin to consider your nomination now so that you are not
overwhelmed with completing the many details of the form at the last
minute. Nominations are due to me by October 24. Please locate the
form in the National Handbook. A separate Player of the Year
in the NCCAA will be selected by the AA committee during the
conference call.
