Chaplain

Coach David Conrady is the National Basketball Director for SCORE International.  For over 25 years SCORE has taken athletes all over the world using their talents and abilities in athletics as a platform for sharing the gospel.  Today, SCORE partners with not only athletes, but most anyone who has a desire to engage in short term mission work.  Prior to going on staff full time with SCORE International, Coach Conrady spent 23 years coaching basketball at the collegiate level.

Coach Conrady joined SCORE after spending six years at UT Chattanooga, with the last four as the associate head coach.  During that time he was a part of three Southern Conference Championships, two Southern Conference Tournament Championships, and two NCAA Tournament appearances.  He helped recruit and develop several All Conference players and two Most Outstanding Players in the Southern Conference tournament.  Coach Conrady has had the opportunity to coach in the national tournament at the NCAA DI, NCAA DII, NAIA and the NCCAA levels.  His North Greenville College team finished 4th at the 2002 NCCAA Tournament.

As a player at Furman University, he was a three time captain for the Paladins.  He was a team leader in steals, free throw percentage, 3 point field goal percentage, and held the school record for assists in a single game.  He was voted to the Southern Conference All Freshman team.  During his junior year he received the prestigious Lyles Alley Leadership Award.  Following his senior year at Furman, he traveled with SCORE International playing in Argentina.

Coach Conrady has had the opportunity to encourage groups all over the country sharing Christ and life lessons learned through athletics.  He and his wife Becky have been married for 18 years.  They have two children, Andrew is 14 and their daughter FaithAnn is 11.
