Clearwater Christian College Repeats Title in 2007

NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT INCLUDES CHRISTIAN SERVICE

Lincoln, IL - One of the highlights of the National Christian College Athletic Association Tournament, hosted by Lincoln Christian College, was the Christian Service project which was carried out by members of the top ten teams in the nation. This year's project was done at the Lincoln Christian Nursing Home. The team members visited with the residents and performed four hours of service in such areas as filling water pitchers with ice, assisting in the laundry room, making beds, playing the piano during the breakfast hour, demonstrating and explaining the fundamentals of volleyball, and generally relating and witnessing to the residents.

Ryan Edgecomb, chaplain of CNH and co-coordinator for the group, stated, "I am very happy for the joy the players brought into the lives of our senior citizens."  # # #
