NCCAA National
Tournament Information
Practice Sessions:
Practice sessions for the tournament are being held on Wednesday,
March 10, 2010. All practice times have already been assigned.
Please contact Drew Watson at 267-816-2170 if you are unsure of the
time for which you’re scheduled.
Tournament Banquet:
The National Tournament Banquet will be held at Philadelphia
Biblical University on Wednesday, March 10 at 7:00 pm in the Chatlos
Chapel in the Smith Administration Building. This event is for all
participating teams (players, staff, and coaches) only. Please make
sure your players dress appropriately for this very special
occasion. Players and coaches are required to wear tournament
passes to enter.
Tournament Praise & Worship Time:
There will be a Praise & Worship time for all tournament teams on
Wednesday at 10:00 pm in the Mason Activity Center gymnasium. This
gathering has traditionally been a good time of sharing and
fellowship that teams are encouraged not to miss!
Hotel Hospitality Room:
There will be a hospitality room at the hotel for all team personnel
to use.
Online
Coverage:
Partnering with Penn Atlantic, the Department of Athletics at PBU
will be broadcasting each game of the tournament live on the
internet. Please note that it is necessary to create an account the
first time you attempt to watch a broadcast match, but nonetheless
the service is free and you will not be required to put a credit
card on file. PBU will also be providing LiveStats for
each match as well, giving online viewers an opportunity to follow
in-game statistics in real-time throughout the contest. . The live
feed and LiveStats can be accessed through the PBU athletics home

Statistical
Information:
Statistics will be distributed to coaches of each participating team
at halftime. Statistics will be available in the hospitality room
at the conclusion of each game. Both the game file as well as a .pdf
of the final game statistics will be emailed to your institution’s
Sports Information Director.
Media:
A game DVD will be provided to participating teams and coaches as
soon as possible at the conclusion of each contest.
Parade of
Champions:
The parade of champions will take place immediately after the 6:00
pm game. All teams will line up from highest to lowest seeds and
enter the gym through the double doors by the athletic training
room. Please contact Melanie Halstead with questions.
NCCAA Student
Athlete Information Cards:
The NCCAA asks that all players fill out the athlete information
cards included in your packets. Please return them to Jerry Malone
before the end of the tournament.

Coaches
Meetings:
All-American
meeting (for regional chairs only) held on Wednesday, March 10
at 8:30 am in the President’s Dining Room (room at the back of the
cafeteria in the Mason Activity Center).
National Coaches
Meeting
intended for all NCCAA II women's basketball coaches
will be held on Friday, March 12 at 8:30 am in the Eagle’s Nest on
the second floor in the Mason Activity Center.
Concessions:
Food will be available for purchase by all guests. The concession
stand is located on the first floor of the Mason Activity Center
past the vending machines near the main entrance.
Parking:
All team vehicles should be parked on the north side of campus in
Lots H and I. (See enclosed map)
Pioneer Food Services:
The PBU cafeteria is located on the second floor of the Mason
Activity Center and will be available for all teams. Those
associated with Pioneer College Caterers, please have I.D. cards to
receive free meal. The meal times for the NCCAA tournament are as
follows:

Tournament Hospitality Room:
All tournament staff, coaches and officials are invited to enjoy
refreshments in the hospitality room located in the Eagle’s Nest on
the second floor of the Mason Activity Center.
Souvenirs:
Each participant will receive a free tournament t-shirt. Other items
will be available for sale. Payment must be made by cash or check
only. Checks made payable to PBU Athletics.
Laundry
Procedures:
PBU will launder one set of uniforms per day per team. Please give
the uniforms to the laundry personnel immediately following your
game. Uniforms laundered will be available in front of the laundry
room located on the first floor of the Mason Activity Cetner to pick
up any time after 11 am the next day. All teams will have an
assigned bin to put uniforms in and will be responsible for
returning that bin to our laundry services at the end of the
tournament. We will launder uniforms and spandex only, no extra
items. Laundry services will not be available after Saturday’s
games.
Athletic
Training:
Rachael Joye will serve as the tournament's Certified Athletic
Trainer for all games played throughout the week. All teams must
provide their own athletic training supplies. If your institution
will be sending a trainer along with you, please contact Rachael
Joye at 215-702-4410. The athletic training room is located on the
first floor of the Mason Activity Center directly behind the gym.

National
Tournament Christian Service Project
There will be a food
drive in conjunction with the tournament organized by Chick-fil-A
and PBU's S.I.F.E.. All teams are required to assist in this effort
by bringing the following items:
All
coaches 1 jar Peanut
Butter and 1 jar jelly
Players born in January or July 1 (14/15 oz.) can of
peaches and 1 box of cereal
Players born in February or August 1 (14/15 oz.) can of
pears and 1 box of cereal
Players born in March or September 1 can of juice and 1 box
of spaghetti
Players born in April or October 1 jar spaghetti sauce
and 1 can of tuna
Players born in May or November 3 boxes of macaroni and
cheese
Players born in June or December 1 can of tuna and1
large can of juice
All
other teams will drop off their food items between 9:00-10:15 am
Wednesday morning.
In addition to the food drive, there will be other Christian Service
Projects conducted during the tournament.

End-of-Season Statistical Reporting
Starting on February 15th,
the stat report you send to Gabe each week needs to be copied to
each member of the
National Tournament Committee. This includes the National Chair
and Vice-Chair as well as all eight Regional Chairs. I have
attached to this e-mail a list of those people along with their
e-mail addresses. Stat reports on
February 15th,
February 22nd, and March 1st
should all be sent to those 10 people as well.
Picture and Roster Deadline
All NCCAA II women’s basketball
teams are required to submit a team picture and roster to the
National Tournament host each year. Please submit
as-high-a-resolution photo as possible and your team roster to
Dave Bennett at Kentucky Christian University.
I have attached the information on the preferred
roster and picture format. Dave’s e-mail address is
dbennett@kcu.edu. The
deadline for the submission of this information is Monday,
February 1st at 5:00 PM. Those missing
the deadline will be
ineligible
for both Regional and National Tournament play this year.

TV and Radio
broadcasts: (Per NCCAA by laws)
“Radio and
Television coverage of National Championship competition may be
arranged through the Executive Director (Dan Wood). Requests must be
submitted in writing to the Executive Director, and subsequent written
approval must be obtained. If approved, a $100 per game or $250 per
championship must be paid to the National Office
before the first
broadcast.” (Section 7.06 Bylaws) page 36)
