National Tournament Information Lodging: The Oasis Hotel and Convention Center and the Sleep Inn are the hosts hotels for the NCCAA men's national tournament. Rooming assignments will be made upon completion of the regional tournaments. For further information, you may contact Mrs. Debbie Julich at the Oasis at 417-522-7727, 888-532-4338. At the Sleep Inn, the contact personnel are: Mr. Scott Warren or Mr. Chris Dillard, 888-753-3760. Three teams will be at the Oasis Hotel and the other teams will be at the Sleep Inn. Directions to the Oasis: From the college, Go East on Norton Street, approx. 1.2 miles, turn right on to National Ave, approx. one tenth of a mile, turn left onto East Evergreen Street, approx. .9 of a mile, turn right on to North Glenstone Ave. approx. one tenth of a mile. Total distance is approximately 2.5 miles. Address: 2250 North Glenstone Ave. Springfield, MO 65803. Directions to the Sleep Inn: From the college, go west on Norton Road, approx. .7 of a mile. Turn left, south, on to Missouri 13 (Kansas Expressway) for approx. 8 miles. Turn left onto US 160 E, ramp towards Rogersville, approx. 1.1 miles and take the Campbell Ave. exit. Get off of that exit, turn right and then immediately left onto E. Camino Alto Street. The Sleep Inn is basically at the intersection of James River Freeway (US 160) and Campbell Ave. Distance is approximately 10.5 miles. Estimated travel time is 15-20 minutes. Meetings: All American

11th. Scholar Athletes: Be sure to get your Scholar-Athlete nominations to your Region Chairs as the forms need to be present at the All American meeting. All Americans: All Americans are selected from the top five vote getters of each region. Be sure to have the proper forms filled out. Only the (8) region chairs attend that meeting. Nominations to be voted upon are: Scholar Athletes, All Americans, Pete Maravich Award, and Coach of the Year. These award winners will be announced at the banquet. Community Outreach Projects: The NCCAA's mens national tournament participants will partner with the Pregnancy Care Center in Springfield to assist the center in moving their facilities. The teams will be involved in painting, removing carpet and a variety of clean up tasks. Teams will be asked to sign up for various time slots. The address of the Pregnancy Care Center is 1342 E. Times and dates for sign up are as follows: Monday, March 10th: 11:00-1:00, 1:00-3:00, 3:00-5:00. Wednesday, March 12th: 8:00-10:00, 10:00-12:00. Friday, March 14th: 8:00-10:00, 10:00-12:00. Go West on JRE to the National Avenue Exit-go right at the end of the ramp onto National. Go to Primrose and turn right. Go to 1342 E. Primrose-on right side and about 1 and one half blocks from National. It is labeled PMI building-Future Home of Pregnancy Care Center. Go in the building and take the elevator up to the 3rd level. From the Sleep Inn: Take JRE East to the National Ave. exit, go North (left) and then follow the instructions as coming from the Oasis Hotel. (see blue)
